Forum OpenACS Q&A: Problem installing packages from OACS repository

Hi,
I am trying a new instance of OACS 5.3 with postgres 8.2.3. I have configured the server & it shows the default subsite page. While trying to install packages it give following timeout error as below.

I configured SSL on this, does this problem is related to that ? ( I have another instance with same config without SSL which works fine.)
Does any body has any idea about this ?

Thanks in advance,

Ratnakar

The outgoing HTTP request to the repository seems to fail. can it be that you run the update at a time, you were not connected to the internet, or when openacs.org was down (e.g. nightly reboot)?

Thanks Gustaf for pointing that,
My firewall was blocking outgoing http request & that's why it was not working. Now life's cool !!

Thanks again,
