Forum OpenACS Q&A: stupid mistake done - help needed

Ok, I can't believe I've done this but anyway...

I've removed permission to public on the main site. I've set up a subsite and wanted to modify permissions not realizing that this will apply to the object rather than the instance - at least this is what I think has happened.

I think the only thing left to do is to go into the database directly and hopefully restore things that way.

Any advice on possible solution ?

I've end up restoring the database from back-up, before seeing this reply,  all seems to be ok.
