Hi Agnieszka,
we used to use virtual hosts, but have changed to the "Pound" reverse proxy already a year ago:
- Much more straight forward
- Comes as a RPM with SuSE 9.2 and is included in Yast Online Updates
- Returns a customizable error screen if one of the servers is down
- Very small C code size allows for better security testing
So, no reason anymore for virtual hosts...
