Has anyone created any alternate UIs for viewing photos in photo album or integrated it with any javascript displays?

I’d like a view that has all the photo titles on the left and then a full sized, or at least larger then thumbnail view, of the selected photos on the right. It shouldn’t be hard but I’m curious if anyone has done anything interesting with photo-album display before I start.

I did some work recently to modify the UI for a client. It doesn't sound like it's exactly what you are looking for but it might save you a little bit of time. Check out the gallery at http://www.joshrap.com.

Although a highly stylized site like this will likely always require some customization, it would be nice if photo album could provide a few different UIs out of the box. Has anyone given this idea any thought?

This is just the sort of think I was hoping to find when I posted. Can you send me the code, we'll think about how we could include multiple UIs in the toolkit.

My immediate task is to set up an easy and attractive way for users to view/manage screenshots of features so we do hope to return this to the toolkit and hopefully use it on dotlrn.org and/or openacs.org.
