I've lost my admin password for my instance of acs and when I access the "forgot your password" link the email fails.

If I have Is there some way I can reset the password via SQL if I am still able to login to the system as root?

hi robert, you just have to put the command "ad_change_password $admin_id MY_NEW_PASSWORD" into a public accessible .tcl file and execute that via aolserver.
