We are able to store a locale with content items. But how should I use them? Is it possible to have multiple versions of a content item with different locales, each with their own latest revision? Is this possible (Having the unique constraint on item_id & locale instead of just item_id)?

I have the feeling I need to go down this road pretty soon and would like not to waste time and get any necessary changes approved for 5.3.

This was designed, but I think needs to still be implemented. I believe it is still the best design that requires the least modification to the content repository.
