Forum .LRN Q&A: Response to Request for Comment: dotLRN Technology Governance

At the University of Cambridge (in England). We are planning to deploy dotLRN/SloanSpace v2. We are also closely involved in the Open Knowledge Initiative and are hosting alternative commercial platforms (Blackboard and FirstClass). We are trying to avoid placing our bets yet.

I don't want to tell anyone what they _should_ do, but the more 'open' dotLRN is the more attractive it is to us. In my view, good open source software is about a process that creates robust, useful, useable and used applications.
