Ben, when I bypass the apache reverse-proxy on that site, I get this browser error:
"Too many redirects occurred trying to open “...”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page."
It seems there is a misconfiguration in aolserver/openacs somewhere. Make sure that all references to the domain name in the aolserver and openacs kernel parameters are consistent.. either using or not using the prefix "www.".
Once you have the site working on the port served by aolserver, then any reverseproxy issues can be addressed.
