Chris,
In the .LRN UI the term "Control Panel" has been replaced with "Administer" within groups (classes, communities, and subgroups) and the "Control Panel" in "My Space" has been replaced with "My Account" (it makes more sense like that).
It would be helpful if you could list the places you found that so we can fix the documentation.
