Forum .LRN Q&A: Solution Grove's presentation at National Science Foundation (NSF) National Science Digital Library (NSDL) conference

Last week I gave a presentation on an NSF funded project we implemented with .LRN.

The slide are here:
"A Contract Creator Centric Learning Management System" - http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dg4vkdtt_70gg8mb5

From a .LRN point of view I think there are three interesting pieces.

1. Customizing .LRN to be owned, run, hosted by the content creator, in this case a company that make microscopes and wants to sell activities to schools that use these microscopes.

2. AJAX graphing of activity data. Wink Demo: Wink Demo: http://www.solutiongrove.com/file-storage/view/documentation/flash-demos/0.727776128098//TDL_DBlue.htm

3. Dynamic types storage of data and data transfer from the client side java applet. White Paper: http://www.solutiongrove.com/file-storage/view/dblue%5C/thediscoverylab.pdf

None of this is generic enough to go back into the main release, this is more an example of how .LRN can be easily customized. If you are interested in code samples for a similar project let us know.

Very good work, Caroline

I think is a use case of customization of .LRN and must be a reference in web page of .LRN.
