We should make sure we get listed on

Does anyone here want to take that on?

Lars,

I am not sure if we can get listed on the site.  Look at what its on their main page.

"This site was created with one goal in mind. To give you the opportunity to "try out" some of the best php/mysql based free and open source software systems in the world. You are welcome to be the administrator of any site here, allowing you to decide which system best suits your needs."

Just kidding.  But it does say php/mysql based free and oss... hehehehe.

Seriously we should get listed, more exposure is always better.

Oooppsss reading the site more.

"2. The system must be php/mysql based.
We have no intentions of demo'ing perl, java, asp, or other language based systems. We understand php/mysql. We will stick with what we know."

I guess we are not allowed. :(

PHP is really getting lots of exposure. :(

The thought is a good one, even if it doesn't fit in with this site. I have been browsing a lot of cms focused sites lately and the closeset OpenACS got was a mention on one of RedHat CCM.

I'll post sites that list cms products to this thread when I find them.

For instance CMSReview.com links to a few sites with comparison charts.

See my original request for help in filling out the OpenACS listing on cmsreview.com.

Of course, we need to write many of the features, but it is definitely a good start.

Dave, I posted a link to the list in your other thread, then I remembered something else. Zope is usually listed, at least in the category of 'Framework'. In my opinion OpenACS is much further along than Zope in this regard, plus it already has a cms specific development environment.
