Forum OpenACS Q&A: nsd problem

I have just finished building an OpenACS-3.2.2/AOLServer3/Postgres7.
After I start the pg and aolserver, and go into a system admin in
ACS, the system becomes very slow.  When I check to see what programs
are running with ps aux I have over 40+ nsd's !

Here is a part of the server log

What have I done wrong ?  Your help woudl eb greatly appreciated

Matt

Hej,

Have you been starting the aolserver a few times, and not killing it before starting it again! It seems like that. It is important to kill the nsd processes before restarting aolserver.
