Forum OpenACS Q&A: Marketing: Feature /package lists

We currently have these two pages.

https://openacs.org/packages/
https://openacs.org/repository/5-0/

This seems like repeated information.  I'd like to find out who maintains both these pages and talk about whether it makes sense to combine and improve them.

Does anyone else has information they would like to added to or linked from these lists?

Thanks
Caroline

I generated the first from the .info files since it is linked from the xml documentation. The second is generated from a newer version of that same script when the repository is regenerated.

If you want to add anything to the description you need to add it to the .info file.

The first is not maintained since it has to be updated by hand.

I've replaced /package with a page linking to /repository.  /repository is dynamically generated directly from .info files in cvs and should be the sole package listing page for the forseeable future.  It should gain the maturity flag shortly.  It would be nice if it was sort/filterable but right now that wouldn't be easy since it's static, generated html, not a data set.
