Forum OpenACS Q&A: I can't see /web

I installed OpenACS-Apache rpms on redhat 6.2 and apache on 8000 port
is working fine..i can login to site as system and do sitewide
adminstration to set modules..but i couldnt see the /web directory in
my linux file system to edit /tcl/ad-defs.tcl files or any. when I
install this rpm which name was assumed as domain name and how can I
customize the site...
please help me...

to conform with the File Hierarchy Standard, the /web directory has been moved to a location under /var.

By doing this, this gives the openacs RPMs the ability to be distributed on certain linux distributions that shall remain nameless 😊

I really should write a summary document describing the changes in the directory structure with RPM packages...
