Forum OpenACS Q&A: nsopenssl probem

Collapse
Posted by Lachlan Myers on
I'm upgrading to Aolserver 3.2 ad10 from 3.1 and from OpenSSL 0.9.5 to
0.9.6. Both installs went without incident, but I'm having some
trouble with nsopenssl.
I'm doing this on a fresh clean OpenACS 3.2.4 install.

Accessing the site login through nssock (http:) works fine, but the
alternate secure port loads to the final line and then stalls. I can
see nothing in the server logs to indicate a problem.

I recompiled OpenSSL as set out in ScottG's documentation and then
recompiled nsopenssl so everything is up to date.

Any suggestions?

Solved by using ScottG's version of nsopenssl, rather than the Aolserver (nsopenssl0_2) version.

I've sent a message to the AOL dev team about two weeks ago to put the latest nsopenssl module on aolserver.com. No response, no module update (just checked). It will always be available from http://scottg.net regardless.
