Forum OpenACS Q&A: Site-wide search and bookmarks

I'm using OpenACS 3.2.4 available for download via http but the I
can't find a way to get the site-wide search and the bookmarks to
work. I noticed on SDM that there's a 3.2.5 bug fix version available
but I can't find where do download it. Do I need to get it from CVS?
And if so where's the CVS repository?

Check out this link where Don explains how to set up bboard search, and checkout this link for instructions on how to do an anonymous checkout of the openacs sources.

Just to clarify: the version of openacs on CVS will automagically load a working working bookmarks module (the one you download from this site won't). To get the bboard search working, you'll need to make sure postgres is compiled or rpm'ed with tcl, and you'll need to run /web/yourservicename/www/doc/sql/rank-for-search.sql

and to clarify one more thing: we've been busy with OpenACS 4.x
design and planning, but 3.2.5, thanks to Roberto and Don, is
close to ready, and we'll be releasing it soon.
