I believe the form generation code in simulation would be considered exploratory.
There is also the classifieds package in /contrib that does some form generation.
No package included in OpenACS currently does form generation. The general direction we are moving is to define tcl APIs for content type definition which will be extended to support definiton of attributes for automatic form generation.
In other words, it is not done yet.
