Forum OpenACS Development: Response to How about an OpenACS wiki?

I'm fascinated by this discussion! I've been wondering when the wiki world would hit the database backed world, and how they would play. This first conversation is a good indication... I remember the first wiki site I was at; when I saw I could edit a page, I thought I'd accidentally been made an admin. I edited a period into an exclamation point, and clicked away after I saw it was changed, a bit like a little kid doing something wrong. :)

Don, I agree with you that using a wiki to add comments to a page in the openACS is nonsensical. I also think that implementing a wiki for static HTML with good history would be pretty revolutionary. My guess is that wikis as a community interaction are here to stay; we should just figure out how to implement them.
