I'll move this installation to another server (at Galileo), and the translation server will be offline for a couple of days that we'll allow for testing. I'll announce when that is ready. Thanks!

Hello All,
here's it:
http://smeagol.galileo.edu:8777/
the same DB, the same code, everything moved without errors noticed.

So you can login as usual a try the translations.
I'll allow today for *testing*, and if there are no errors reported by translators here, we can then change translate.openacs.org to point to this server.

There's a bit more to the rollover process

1) restore backup (where did you get it from)?
2) test new location for perf
3) set up automated backup for new location
4) lower TTL for DNS to minimum
5) after original TTL duration has passed, replace the old site with an "out of service" notice
6) run a backup
7) restore the backup on the new site
8) test the backup on the new site
9) switch DNS
10) return TTL to normal

Downtime will be after step 5 and should be only a few hours at most.

Hi!

In my University of Valencia(http://www.uv.es) the Catalan is one official language.

We have the oacs-5-1 in production and need the files *.xml of Catalan language . In the translate.org we were translate the catalan.

Now you can access it again (probably some will have to wait for a day or so while their DNS entries propigate), let us know if you find any trouble. Today I think Joel will merge catalogs from oacs-5-1 branch into the translate server.

no entiendo bien que es lo que deseas hacer, crear un nuevo catalog para catalan y empezar a traducir?
o ya los tienen traducidos y los desean poner en translate.openacs.org?

Si van a crear un nuevo catalog, creo que seria conveniente despues del merge que Joel va a realizar y yo podria asistirlos en dicho proceso. Dejenme saber cuales son sus planes.
