The current OpenACS approach is to be the same as ACS Classic on this
particular aspect. However, some of your comments are interesting:
- typing of parameters: let's investigate how difficult this would be,
and more importantly how much code this would break. The benefits are
interesting, but not worth a huge amount of coding right now, IMO.
- can you expand on the idea that the site map package would work with
whatever admin abilities a package has? Sort of like a plugin
interface where any package can plop down some admin features in the
site map?
- on the uniqueness of parameters, I think your suggestion makes
sense. Plus, any packages with the old rule would work with this new,
more permissive rule.
