Um, I hate to say this Jerry, because it is exactly what  you don't
want to hear, but I think you need to start a new thread for this.

There are two separate issues here. One, which was the original
point of this thread, was how the community could work together
on business issues. The other, which seems to have been
pulled in by several posters, is how the community interacts in
general--but mainly around development processes.

Personally, I am much more inclined to believe that there's a
problem worth worrying about in the former issue than the latter.
The biggest bound on the growth of this community, IMHO, is not
Ben; nor is it the fact that we don't have a wikki board. It's the fact
that the development is being done by an all-volunteer group.
Given that fact, and given the fact that the 4.x port is a
monumental task, I think the community is doing rather well.

But that's all irrelevant, because it's not the issue at hand. I think
if we try to address both these problems in one thread, we will
end up addressing neither with any degree of satisfaction.
