Forum .LRN Q&A: Community Admins retain 'admin' privilege on cal_items they create

When a community 'Administrator' creates a cal_item they are granted 'admin' privilege on it.

If their membership to the community is subsequently changed to 'member' they can still edit and delete the messages they created themselves while an Administrator.

Shouldn't this privilege be removed (when their membership is changed) or the ownership of the cal_item (and the admin privilege) be granted to the 'Admin' relational segment of the community instead since these cal_items really belong to the group?

Well, this is a question of definition, but I say, everyone can change the items one created (life long ownership). Furthermore (I assume) changing this behaviour would mean to change it throughout the system to be consistent and I don't think we should go down that road.
