Forum .LRN Q&A: .LRN 2.1.1 plan

We have a bunch of fixes (most importantly the installation permission bug that people see when the site admin first logs in) so I'd like to cut a 2.1.1 to take advantage of that and have a cleanly installed release.

I'd looking at Monday to do the work.... Please let me know if this causes any big problems for people.

The sooner the better Tracy. As you know we have not been banging our drums about 2.1 being available due to these "first impression issues" on install and WE REALLY SHOULD BE banging our drums (.LRN 2.1 is MUCH better).

Hi Tracy,

Please release ASAP. I am planning to do an upgrade from dotLRN 1.0 to 2.1 before the semester begins.

Thanks,
Nick.

Does this upgrade apply to the acs-admin package?

Greetings,

Nima, the upgrade will be for everything. I'm not looking forward to it. Have to upgrade from PG7.2 to PG7.4, OpenACS 4.6 to 5.1, and dotLRN 1 to dotLRN 2.
