Forum OpenACS Q&A: Assessment matrix

I have a need to run a survey and wondered if the rewritten assessment can help me there.

One key ingredient I need is a matrix table, where you have multiple questions with the same answers below each other and you have the choices horizontally.

I did write this for the original version of assessment, but can't seem to find how to enable it in the current one. Maybe someone can help me out here ?

From the documentation:

[FE]: Matrix table (blocked questions)
A matric table allows multiple questions with the same answer to be displayed in one block. At the moment this is done in the section setup (if all questions in a section have the same answers they would be shown in a matrix). One could think about making this a special question type on it's own.

Alternatively, if you know a survey tool (hosted or not) which I can use, please let me know as well.

Hi Malte,

This is either in survey, or the complex-survey package in contrib, although I am pretty sure we ported it over to survey at some point.

I am not aware of this feature ever showing up in assessment.
