Forum .LRN Q&A: User Model Package

Hi,

I've read this document https://openacs.org/contribute/ and I've thought that is a good moment to present you my plans relative to OpenACS/dotLRN.

I'm going to develop an OpenACS/dotLRN package as a contribution to the work we've been doing at UNED. We've already written a requirements document and hopefully we could deliver soon a design document. I'll be pleased if you could give me any comments on that 😊

Meanwhile, I am reading https://openacs.org/doc/current/acs-package-dev.html and https://openacs.org/education/psets/pset2. I am doing some hacks to code to understand the concepts. I've worked with ACES for three years, but there are a lot of new things for me in OpenACS/dotLRN, and they seem to be really interesting 😉

I intend to use my learning with OpenACS/dotLRN to facilitate this process to other interested people. I am trying to annotate some tips (like comments) in openacs documentation web pages, I hope this would be the most adequate thing. When I tried it I obtain the next error message: There was a server error processing your request. We apologize. The error has been logged and will be investigated by our system programmers.

I hope send this message to the correct forum.

Best regards

Will you be including the ability for statistical analysis, such as with R[1]?
