Rocael, that is very cool!  Thanks for sharing.  I haven't used too many chat environments, but it seems to be quite an improvement over the previous ACS 3.x built-in version.

I have had some pressure to produce a near-term chat solution on OpenACS 3.2.5, so this looks pretty good to me.  I would definitely be interested in the backported module and your documentation of the installation process.

BTW, were we at the ACS 4 boot camp together last year in Pasadena?
