Forum OpenACS Q&A: Response to Windows, AOLServer, and OACS

I agree with John that the best approach is probably to get mod_nsd/mod_aolserver to run with Apache 2.0. This means getting some serious energy behind whoever chooses to give this a run.

But then, I wonder if the more interesting port for Windows is to make OACS available on SQL Server. I think it would be much more attractive to windows shops if they could maintain a native DB in an enviro that they are familiar with rather than using a DB with a different procedural language that is also running in a unix emulation.
