Forum .LRN Q&A: aLFanet Project

Hi,

regarding aLFanet Project (https://openacs.org/forums/message-view?message_id=301221) I'm sorry to say that unfortunately we have not had at aDeNu Research Group the expected resources to prepare a version of imsld package for OpenACS/dotLRN community. Anyway, from aLFanet webpage (http://alfanet.ia.uned.es) you can get all information from the project and the source code of the Interaction Module based on dotLRN 2.0.3.

Although our resources are now minimun (let's say that I'm the only person involved in aLFanet), we are interested in contributing with my help as much as I can in integrating IMS-LD in dotLRN.

Can you give an overview of how the overall architecture looks like? I mean how everything is working together, what is missing, what is done in dotLRN and what elsewhere?

Greetings,
Nima

Nima,

this was explained in the paper I presented at the 2nd .LRN Forum Madrid-05 and available in the proceedings
(http://www.dotlrn.org/conferences/Madrid05/):

Paper: http://dotlrn.org/file-storage/view/madrid05/05.pdf
Slides: http://dotlrn.org/file-storage/view/madrid05/alfanet.ppt

which is also linked from the Project Documentation area at aLFanet website (aLFanet architecture).

Hello again,

I didn't say it explicitly, but perhaps I should had. To access the information about aLFanet Project, you should click on the left menu made up of 6 images. The registered area is for internal use and aLFanet project management.
