the projectOpen .LRN installation most likely does not put the install.xml for .LRN into the root directory, this is why .LRN would not install. After all ProjectOpen is not officially distributing .LRN nor giving support for this installation. They just add it as a goodie to their installer of ProjectOpen, not sure if the .LRN part is even tested.
