I've tried to get DotLRN to run off port 80. Has anyone else had any luck with this and can help me out?

Most, if not all .LRN production sites run on port 80. Perhaps you can let us know exactly what problem you are seeing. Is there an error message you get when you try to start it on port 80?

Check the command that is starting AOLserver.

You must specify the ip address and port to bind to when starting AOLserver on port 80.

ie:

nsd -it /var/lib/aolserver/openacs/etc/config.tcl -b127.0.0.1:80 -u openacs
