What is your experience with ephorus?
The experience is positive (from the technical side and from the user point of view); previously, we had a usb-stick based version plagiarism finder; the user feedback is highly positive about our new solution.
Is it a good product?
i would call none of plagiarism finders good, but ephorus is among the best (see e.g. http://plagiat.htw-berlin.de/software-en/2010-2/).

It is free code, but we do not have it in a public repository. If you are interested, get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org, who did the implementation.
