Forum .LRN Q&A: Editing posts post post

I just noticed a spelling error in the notification sent out as a result of my last post and it reminded me of two features I want in forums that Moodle has (I team taught an online course a few months ago and we migrated users to Moodle midway through the course to see what they subjectively liked better).

Summary:

1. Non-admin users are able to edit their posts for a limited amount of time after posting (I think it was something like 20 min) and then it is set to admin only.

2. Little pictures next to the person that is posting.

Those two things would have resulted in OpenACS Forums easily winning (and that was the pre-5.2 version of forums).

P.S. I just corrected the spelling mistake in the post (only possible because I am admin). 😊
