Hi,

The ]project-open[ development is proudly announcing
version V3.1.2 of our project management and controlling
tool.

Download: http://www.project-open.org/download/
Main Web: http://www.project-open.com/

V3.1.2 contains some 80 enhancements and bug fixes compared
to V3.0.0.6. Installers are available for both Linux and
Windows.

Change Log: http://www.project-open.org/download/change_log.html

Main Purposes:

]project-consulting[ is an integrated ERP system for small
and medium software companies (and other service companies
such as consulting, advertizing, ...).

]pc[ covers the entire project life cycle from sales
(CRM-light), staffing, execution (timesheet, incidents and
discussions, filestorage, financial controlling) to
invoicing and payment.

It is targeted to users who are looking for an "out-of-the
box solution" rather than a toolkit.

Main New Features:

On the financial side the new version now contains an
"exchange rate" module that allows to correctly sum up
invoices and quotes issued in multiple currencies to a
single Profit & Loss value. We can now send invoices to
multiple billing addresses as HTML attachments.

On the project management side we now have project tasks
with estimated, reported (integration with timesheet
management) and billable hours. Tasks are associated with
"materials" (anything that you can sell) that are in turn
assoicated with a price list, allowing you to invoice
effort-based projects automatically using an Invoice Wizard.
The project advancement is automatically calculated from
the completion of the project tasks. "Create Project from
Template" allows you to standardize your projects and to
save time creating recurring project structures.

The "DynField" alias "FlexBase" SQL Metadata (an extension
of AMS) system has now been integrated into the system by
default. This modules allows you to add new fields to
users, customers and projects. The new fields will
automatically appear in the ObjectView and ObjectList
pages.

Closed-Source extension modules now include a "Reporting
Engine" with a number of financial and timesheet reports
and a "Freelance Database" (a tiny "Monster.com").

Best regards,
Frank
