As it's my understanding you've created and maintain the git repos of openacs cvs, I'd assume you'd be the one to contact about this:

The package acs-datetime (among others, used by calendar) is not available on github; could you make the repo and populate it w/ the history of that package?

Thanks... the package calendar thinks [1] there should be a 5.8.1; does anyone remember such a version of acs0-datetime or was there one in cvs?

there seems to be a problem with the mirror, since the last commit on the mirror in oacs-5-8 was from Oct 11, 2009 [1], while there were many changes in cvs [2], the lastest version is as always in CVS and is actually 5.8.1 [3].

OK, let me know if I can do anything to help. I will say this is not urgent since as you say the latest is in CVS,

Should I try to build up the package from CVS and put it in my git branch? I seem to have forgotten my CVS chops, I'll try to regain them. Should I do one big git commit, or a lot of little ones? If you were to pull from my git branch, it would be good to know which makes you more work.

I can also try to find all the cvs commits, and make one git commit per. This might be the easiest to verify.

PS I do have a github.com/jwlynch/acs-datetime, I think that one was just pulled ad hoc from CVS. I have not checked it for historical accuracy.

victor has deleted and recreated the acs-datetime package on github. Somehow, the export was stuck. so [1] is fine now.
