Where would we be today without that funded code base?
I will ask back. Do you think Sloan would have been funding the development of dotLRN if it has not been for the efforts of volunteers like myself and the rest of the OpenACS community? The code base we received from aD would have probably stagnate if it was not adopted by this community. So, *if* MIT Sloan wants to proceed on their own without any consideration of the people who brought OpenACS where it is today, that's fine by me, just don't expect me to "approve" the .LRN consortium -- in that case, I'm sorry, I'll pass.
