Hey Pete, thanks for this initiative! Just to give you a heads up, I wanted to let you know that I am using acs-automated-testing now to test some procedures in the acs-lang package. I am keeping my tests under tcl/test. I think sourcing them in the bootstrapper if acs-automated-testing is installed sounds like a good idea but I haven't implemented that yet. For now I am symlinking to the file from the tcl directory to have it sourced.
One thing I've improved so far is to display the whole stack trace when a test fails. It's funny I remember doing the same thing with JUnit when I started using that tool. I'll let you know when I have more results and feedback.
