Hi Ryan,

More details please..
Are you using Postgres or Oracle?
Did you do a check out of OACS4.6 and dotLRN1.0 or head?
Do you also have problems creating communities?

Currently using oracle. I followed the install instructions to pull from cvs (https://openacs.org/projects/dotlrn/dotlrn-doc/dotlrn-installation) which should have gotten the latest versions, correct? Also currently having same problem creating communities.

Thankx

There is a comment on the bottom of the page on how to check out the stable branch.

I'd give that a try.

I'll modify the documentation to discuss the branches further up.

I believe the absence of sticky tags means we're on the head branch, right?

$ cvs status index.tcl
===================================================================
File: index.tcl        Status: Up-to-date

  Working revision:    1.3
  Repository revision: 1.3    /cvsroot/openacs-4/www/index.tcl,v
  Sticky Tag:          (none)
  Sticky Date:        (none)
  Sticky Options:      (none)

So we should try openacs-4.6 plus dotlrn-stable, or current stable branches of both? We'd picked HEAD of both just for giggles and because some other [perhaps out-of-date] threads here had suggested that HEAD might be happier, especially with Calendar.
