Forum OpenACS Q&A: Open Source CMS Conference in Cambridge MA, May 2003

http://www.oscom.org/Conferences/Cambridge/ is a conference for Open Source CMS developers. The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to March 15.

It would be interesting if someone from the OpenACS community submitted a proposal.

The submitted proposals so far: http://www.oscom.org/Conferences/Cambridge/Proposals/

There is a participants mailing list http://www.oscom.org/mailman/listinfo/participants

An interesting note is that they are trying to make the entire conference process "Open Source" by soliciting feedback from the participants on what the conference should be.  Check out the conference weblog http://blog.oscom.org/

It seems that RH has submitted a number of proposals.  I also noticed that a proposal was by Karl Goldstein, which we all know did much of CR and CMS.
Indeed, almost 50% of the proposals are by RedHat ... do you think they are pushing hard for their CMS? Wow!

Is someone from the OpenACS community thinking on doing a presentation? I saw that the "Matrix information" about OpenACS is maintained by Rafael Calvo, Rafa: do you plan to attend?
