I am working on the FAQ module for the Zen bug bash and have a question about the way FAQ is implementing categorization support. All users are being offered the opportunity to categorize questions. Is that a good idea? Seems out of sync with the usual OpenACS behavior.

It should probably be based on something like write privs not admin privs.

Think about it ... if a user can add a faq, they should be able to categorize their item, no?

On the other hand, adding new categories seems like an admin task.

This is 100% off the top of my head thinking.

In my idea, the creator of the FAQ item as well as the administrator can add / change categories, not any user.
