If you are using the OpenACS backup script and are unlucky to have GNU Tar 1.15.1 installed (e.g on Ubuntu) then you will get a lot of " file is unchanged; not dumped" messages. This is a bug in GNU Tar 1.15.1 which has been resolved in later versions, as this message should only show up in verbose mode.
