I'm sure everybody knows this already, but since nobody has mentioned it I felt I should point out that there already exists a
history page (it's hard to miss, since the OpenACS index page links to it). Ben's historical narrative seems to end with the creation of OpenACS. Hopefully the new history page will have something to say about the more recent history of the toolkit as well. Looking forward to reading all about it.
