The OpenACS periodically elects the OpenACS Core Team (OCT) to make technical decisions on the direction of OpenACS. Extentions or changes to OpenACS that affect the core of OpenACS require a vote from the OCT.

OCT Members elected October 2008:
- Gustaf Neumann
- Emmanuelle Raffenne
- Rocael Hernández
The next election will be for OCT members whose terms expire October 2009.
