This year, the conference will again be a combined Tcl/Tk and OpenACS event. The joint conference seeks practitioners, developers, and researchers whose work involves Tcl/Tk and/ or OpenACS. The conference will offer multiple presentations and discussions about Tcl/Tk programming, as well as for developments and applications of the OpenACS Web application framework. You are invited to contribute and participate actively by proposing a presentation. The conference language is English.

We invite proposals for long and short presentations from practitioners, developers, and researchers. After registration, you will be offered to submit an abstract via this website (minimum 250 words, max. 2 pages). Anticipated deadline for abstract submission is June, 17th, 2024. 4 Location

4.1 How to get to the WU by public transport

The conference's sessions will be held in our auditorium LC.2.400 in WU's Library & Learning Centre (LC; OpenStreetMap, Google Maps). When traveling by metro (line U2), the LC can be reached best from station Krieau, exit Krieau (10min walk). The WU campus is also easy to reach by bus line 82A (Krieau station) and tram line 1 (Prater Hauptallee station)

4.2 Arrival by bike

Cycling is not allowed on the WU campus; the approximately 1,000 bicycle parking spaces are located along the cycle path that runs around the campus. City bike stations are located near the two subway stations Messe-Prater and Krieau, as well as at the south entrance of the WU Campus.

4.3 Arrival by car

The underground car parking is located below the main campus walkway (€ 22 per day max). The entrance to the garage is in Trabrennstraße. There are a total of 411 parking spaces, of which approx. 180 spaces are available at short notice, the rest is reserved for long-term parkers. There are four entrances to the campus from the garage. The exits of the garage are located in the open space - thus, each building can be entered via its main entrance on the ground floor.

4.4 Hotels

We can offer special conference rates for the following hotel next to the WU Campus (5-10 minutes walking distance).
Booking details will follow upon registration.
Please note that the conference special rate room contingent is reserved only until 30 April 2024!

There are several more hotels or Airbnb opportunities close to the Campus.
