I have just been quietly informed I'm begging for a flame war by asking this. I really just wanted to ask if there is anything we can learn from other sucessful open source content management systems. I'm not asking is PHP better than OpenACS. Really.

At the Copenhagen discussion, it was mentioned that the ease of installation was one good thing about Postnuke. Another was its almost too pretty interface, which made use of alot of pretty icons. This is the kind of comparison I hope we can make and learn from.

It was mentioned to me that Plone and Typo3 are worth looking at.

Please do not flame the newcomer. Barbequed skin colour doesn't match any of my clothes.
