Hi, i am new with everything here. For web to sms, what should i learn first? do you have any suggestion? fast solutions?. Thanks.

Get yourself a provide which offers to send you SMS. Make sure he has either an e-mail interface or a WebAPI (the latter is prefered).

Then write a quick ad_form to send the SMS. THe contacts package already has this capabilities built in with a provider in Germany.

Hi folks,

Why not integrate twitter api into notfications module? http://twitter.com/help/api\ and Jaiku http://jaiku.com/api That eliminates the need to satisfy the needs of individual SMS gateway services.

It would also be a nice Microblogging addition to lars-blogger and it would extend openacs into the mobile arena.

Just a thought
