Forum OpenACS Q&A: Package Documentation links gone!

Hi

Is there any reason why links to "Installed Packges" docs from my /doc page would just not be displayed as links anymore?! I have only 2 links to docs under "Installed Packages" yet I have more than 20 packages installed and I know I looked at Templating and CR docs from this page before. Yet the Templating and CR packages appear without  being "clickable" links to their docs now.
What coulda happened to the links?!

thanks

Well not that anyone is listening, but...

I started looking more into this and found that all links under "Basic OpenACS" in my acs-core-docs /doc page are now linking to "not found" error pages. The installed package links that do show up are giving XML parsing errors in IE.

I tried running make in /packages/acs-core-docs/www/xml as the README said but it gave an error too:
bash-2.05a$ make
cp -u files/*.{txt,html} ../files/
cp: cannot stat `files/*.html': No such file or directory
make: *** [prelim] Error 1

What suddenly happened to my docs?
Weird.

Ok more fun.

I deleted my acs-core-docs package. Then I copied a fresh source from 4.6.1 final (my kernel version) into /packages. Then I re-installed from the apm.

Now the missing/broken links on the right side of the /doc page under "Basic OpenACS" are working again.

But most of my installed packages still do not show up as links on the right side of the /doc page. Of the 2 packages (ACS Service Contract and General Comments) that do link to their docs, only ACSServicContract works, General Comments fails to load with XML errors.
ACS Content, CR, Templating, ETP, etc (a long list) no longer show up as links to their docs.

I had a completely functioning version of acs-core-docs since my OACS install months ago. I don't know what happened to cause it to break like this.

Any ideas on how I can get my docs to link to packages I have installed again. And maybe even get rid of the XML errors?

TIA.
