Just wanted to announce that we are adding a switch to ACS-Mail that will allow it to send emails out immediatly without storing them in the database for the scheduler to take care of. As you might have guessed, we are still storing the mails in the database for the scheduler, if the MTA returned an error (e.g. not available, or whatever might be the reason).
