Ask and ye shall receive. Here's an attempt to create a quick-guide that "leverages" the existing documentation and doesn't create new material that can get out of sync. This is what it looks like - the links won't work until I get HEAD documentation posted somewhere. Also haven't added tDOM to the docs yet.
This page describes a minimal installation of OpenACS with
PostGreSQL (not Oracle). It will produce a working OpenACS
installation in under an hour. It excludes source control,
full text search, ssl, managed services (daemontools),
DocBook, and email.
