Hi folks,
the experts warned to use the bboard package instead of forum ... but too late, I already installed it. Maybe this is the punishment:
We had a user in our system who entered a wrong email address. Now constantly all postings go out to this email address. So probably this bad user subscribed to all postings in all the forums. So I deleted the bad user with the wrong email address. But the system still sends all postings to the wrong address.
Whenever a good user posts a message, the Linux MTA (sendmail) sends a mail that the email to the wrong address could not be delivered. Even worse, this mail doesn't go to the admin's mail address, but to the good user who posted the original message. This is a mystery to me.
Maybe someone could give the clue that I could follow ... Thanks.
