1: Sourcing of *init.tcl files when restarting from APM?

When a package has been installed and you click the link to restart the server, it seems the package's *-init.tcl script is not sourced. I have not checked the code, but am wondering if this rings a bell for someone?

As of lately, I have to restart my server once more in order to register the curriculum filter in the init file.

That's very bizarre because restarting the server really restarts the server ...

Actually it *kills* the server - whatever auto restart setup you have (inittab, daemon tools) is doing the restart.
